way too kind for reality. The HOA and that president were on the hook for triple the value of the trees cut almost everywhere. I am pretty sure I would have owned those 11 acres in exchange for the trees cut before it was over. And likely owned that president's home as well. The maliciousness was clear. She intended to steal that timber and knew what she was doing. Criminals should not get off scott free.

This really happened to a guy - I saw his video on it and he ended up winning a lawsuit for 140k -- but ... he had bought his property for privacy and the stupid new neighbor cut his trees down and that privacy was gone 😟

As usual, no actual punishment or consequences for either civil or criminal actions. Board president should've been chained to damaged tree until it recovers. Make her responsible for care, give her 5 gallons of water and a loaf of bread a week till tree is fully healed, shouldn't take more than 8 or 10 years.
