There's such an incredible optimism found in 2000s House and Club tracks that cannot be found anywhere else. This was a prime era for the genres.

This sound absolutely shaped me. 🔥 Roger Sanchez, Michael Gray, Tom Novy, Axwell, Shapeshifters, Junior Jack, Tim Deluxe… this whole era of house had such a special energy. Big grooves, unforgettable vocals and so much feeling. It’s still one of the biggest influences on the music I produce today.

Born in 1950, loved Motown and Disco, then my daughter introduced me to House, when I moved to San Francisco in '97 - 2003 and I was in heaven...it was like the best of disco on steroids.  Never went back to ordinary old people's music.  Fell in love with Big Beat, Techno, Trance as well, but House is a spiritual thing.  Still rollin' to it at 75...No time to be depressed or sad.

The set transcends purely music, it’s representative of a time when you’d be immersed in a sea of people - no mobile phones - no selfies - no social media - no likes. It was all about who you were with and letting loose, being free of opinion and care! Pure enjoyment. Thank you. 👏🏻

I CANNOT EMPHASIZE ENOUGH HOW AMAZING IT WAS TO BE IN THE CLUBS AT THE TURN OF THE CENTURY. OR THE RAVES OF THE 1990S. WE EXPERIENCED THE TIMELESS. THE INEFFABLE. PURE LOVE AND UNITY. PEOPLE DANCING THEIR BLESSED ASSES OFF… AND YES THE PARTY FAVORS HELPED BUT LONG AFTER THOSE WERE DONE THE MUSIC REMAINED!
