  I have always loved this song but right now it means even more to me. I’m waiting to hear if I have cancer , I’m 60 next year  , I have a wife , 2 daughters & 3 grandkids, I need them all right now more than they know x

  This is one of those songs that would have a different meaning depending on where a person is in life, but everyone can find meaning. 👏👏👏👏

  The reason he doesnt go further than 60, is the age of his dad, and he could not imagine getting older than him..<br>Go take a listen to better than yourself by Lukas Graham ❤️

  The reason he talks about drinking and smoking at age 11 is because he did those things, even before age 11.<br>Lukas was a BIG child actor in Denmark from the age of like 2 until he was about 7 , he had a hard time growning up because of that and turned to drugs and alcohol.<br>He then started writting and singing. <br>His &quot;big brother&quot; Benjamin Rothenborg Vibe on film has the same story, 1980s and 1990´s were not kind to kid stars at all, not even in Denmark...

  Dane here. Lukas Graham was on fire when they first started out in denmark. they are still touring here. I think they have 6 shows on danish music festivals during the summer. There is alot of danish music worth checking out... Another danish treasure is Kim Larsen - This is my life

  Lukas is a great singer and songwriter - I think you missed the point about his father dying at 60 years. You should check out some of his other songs like: &quot;Not a damn thing changed&quot;, &quot;Love someone&quot;, &quot;You&apos;re not there&quot;, &quot;HERE - for christmas&quot;, &quot;Happy for you&quot;.

  The deeper part of this music is the paralel with the mother saying &quot;get yourself some friends or you&apos;ll be lonely&quot; while his father says &quot;get yourself a wife or you&apos;ll be lonely. In the end, when he say&quot;I Hope my Children come and visit once or twice&quot; makes clear that he doesnt want to be like his father, someone that the Children wont visit. And his mother was already lonely in their own wedding, so she knew he needed more than one love relationship
