MEET ME IN THE VALLEY | ASHLEY DAUGHERTY

You may not get to choose the valley you walk through, but you can choose not to walk through it alone. In “Meet Me in the Valley,” Pastor Ashley Daugherty shares how God uses biblical community, relationships, and the power of presence to carry us through life’s hardest seasons. If you’re walking through grief, disappointment, anxiety, loneliness, loss, or simply carrying something heavy, this message is for you. Watch until the end and be reminded that isolation is not God’s plan for your life. Looking at Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, Pastor Ashley shows us that even Jesus invited trusted people into His pain. He drew His friends close, asked them to stay with Him, and ultimately turned to His Father as His source. That same pattern matters for us. People are not our Savior. God is our source. But relationships are often one of the ways God provides His grace in our lives. In this message, you’ll discover why isolation can become dangerous, why community has to be built before the crisis comes, how vulnerability opens the door to healing, and why simply showing up for someone can make a greater difference than having the perfect words. You’ll also hear a powerful testimony of how godly community helped someone walk through grief, heartbreak, isolation, and loss and ultimately experience healing and transformation. You don’t have to carry everything by yourself. And maybe today the question isn’t only, “Who will meet me in my valley?” Maybe God is asking you: “Whose valley are you willing to step into?” CHAPTERS 00:00 Jesus in Gethsemane 03:50 Meet Me in the Valley 07:22 We All Walk Through Valleys 09:00 God’s Provision in the Valley 10:14 We Were Never Meant to Do Life Alone 11:28 You Don’t Have to Walk Through It Alone 11:49 The Danger of Isolation 15:23 Community Is God’s Design 17:19 Just Keep Showing Up 17:31 Why Victory Groups Matter 18:02 Build Community Before the Crisis 19:29 Isolation Cuts Us Off From Wisdom 20:20 There Is Treasure in the Valley 21:34 What Valleys Reveal 22:01 People Are Not Your Source 23:51 God May Send People You Didn’t Expect 25:59 People Are Provision, God Is the Source 26:58 Who Are You Doing Life With? 28:36 Jade’s Story: Community Changed My Life 33:39 Who Can You Meet in the Valley? 35:22 Whose Valley Are You Willing to Step Into? 36:09 The Power of Presence 37:02 Do For One What You Wish You Could Do For All 38:23 “I’m Still Here” 39:40 Aim Your Gifts Toward Someone’s Valley 40:55 Make Room in Your Life for People 42:30 Who Needs Your Presence? 43:19 Salvation Prayer 45:00 Coming Out of Isolation 47:48 Will You Meet Someone in Their Valley? 48:48 A Fresh Yes Subscribe for new messages from Victory Church every week and share this sermon with someone who may need to know they don’t have to walk through their valley alone.
