  The thing is, when they later said that Bdubs must've done so much bad redstone he actually got good at it, THEY'RE RIGHT.  THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT.  That's how you get really good at anything, you have to do it BADLY over and over again and just keep going!

  I like how bdubs goes like &quot;LETS JUST PUT A SHOVEL HERE&quot; while doing redstone, like that&apos;s the most normal thing in the world. Imagine calling 2 redstone experts, both of them failing to solve the problem, and then this guy comes in and starts combining random items like he knows exactly what he&apos;s doing and somehow THAT works.

  I think the deciding factor here was Etho and Cub being too good at redstone. Bdubs makes a lot of his redstone deliberately inefficient for his viewers&apos; and his own entertainment, which means he&apos;s had most of his practice coming up with novel solutions for novel problems. The other two started by thinking about how they would most efficiently remake the entire system, and when that plan was shot down hit a dead end trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Bdubs accepted and understood Grian&apos;s design premise from the start.
