  Wookiees will forever be my favorite science fiction race because they just seemed to very reasonable in their biology and culture, and just a great companion to have in your adventures.

  You know, everyone always talks about Droids this, Trandoshans that, Empire the other. But what about the carnivorous plant attack on the Wookiees? You never hear people up in arms about <i>that.</i>

  Wookiees are my absolute favorite alien race in Star Wars , a best friend who is loyal , funny , can fix anything with a hydro spanner , and always has your back in a cantina scuffle , who else would you want traveling the galaxy with

  I remember some novelizations of Star Wars referring to Wookies as having lifespans in excess of 6,000 years!!! &nbsp;🤠👍

  I looked up the Holiday Special and watched it. I understand now why George Lucas said he would have smashed every copy of it. Aside from the entire presentation being more like a poorly-written Hee-Haw sketch and the story being insufferably hokey, it was Itchy buying what amounts to a VR porn model and the adult language that turned me off. And in a series geared toward children and younger teens, that&apos;s a massive no-no. Its only saving grace is the fact that it&apos;s the only view we have of Chewie&apos;s family and broader Wookiee culture outside of literature. But that doesn&apos;t justify the adult themes.
