Faith Like Birds is called to be a voice to a generation. It exists to see teenagers both encounter the Lord and surrender their life to Him through the preaching of the gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that an encounter with God causes Him to become undeniably real and that it has the ability to change a person’s life forever. We seek to fulfill this call by holding annual youth gatherings. We are also called to support and strengthen other youth ministries and youth leaders by ministering at weekly youth gatherings, conferences, and retreats. @faithlikebirds Vision: A movement of restored young lives laid down for Jesus. A: Time alone with God is described as the most important time of your life, essential for revealing your true identity, awakening God's nature in you, and causing you to become like Him. 🌟 Q: What is the purpose of man according to Genesis? A: God made man to reveal His image on earth, live by His spirit, walk in love, and shine His light, as shown in Genesis. 🚫 Q: What caused man to step out of God's purpose and intention? A: Eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil caused man to step out of God's purpose, as God made man to know Him, not good and evil. Intimacy with God 🔑 Q: Why is knowing your right standing with God crucial? A: Knowing you have right standing with God and access to Him through Jesus' blood is crucial; always run to God in failure, never hide, as the veil was torn top to bottom for relationship. Identity and Purpose 🎭 Q: Where should believers find their identity and purpose? A: Identity, purpose, belonging, acceptance, love, and value are found in Christ; trying to find them through relationships leads to pain, brokenness, and drama. 🙌 Q: Are there "super Christians" or "hot shots" in faith? A: There are no super Christians or hot shots, just believers; God heals through people, but it's God who actually heals. Prayer and Bible Reading 📖 Q: How should one approach Bible reading? A: Read the Bible intimately, as if reading the written Word of God, communing with the Holy Spirit to bring the truth to life, understanding, and application in your heart and life. 🕰️ Q: What practical tip is given for dedicated prayer time? A: Turn clocks to the wall to lose track of time, and spend hours in God's presence, which will cause your heart to come alive and you won't want to stop. Manifestation of God's Power 🔮 Q: How can God reveal Himself through believers to others? A: God wants to reveal Himself through you to others, showing you things about their life, even if you don't know them well, to love them well. 🙏 Q: Can new believers experience the gifts of the Spirit? A: God can flow through you in the gifts of the Spirit, like healing, even if you're a new believer, as seen in the testimony of a man with no disc in his back who was healed after prayer. Overcoming Negative Emotions 🚫 Q: What emotions keep people from God? A: Guilt, condemnation, shame, and regret are lies that keep people from God; Dan encourages running to Him, as He loves you, is not mad at you, and you can always approach Him. Living Out Faith 👥 Q: How did Dan's life impact his co-workers? A: Dan's life lived in front of his co-workers for two and a half years accomplished opening ears to hear God, despite their bad experiences with Christians, and showed them what God can look like in a person. 🌱 Q: What produces perseverance, character, and hope? A: Glorying in tribulation produces perseverance, character, and hope that never disappoints, because God loves us. In every situation, God reveals Himself through us and to us. Purpose of Life 🎁 Q: What is the believer's purpose on earth? A: Life is a gift in Christ, not a burden. We are made for this time to manifest Christ to the world, which needs everything we have within us.
