  I am a Senior saddled with a large house with two fully furnished suites and a houseful of International Students and a large yard with an 85 ft vegetable garden. What was once a joy  is now an albatross around my neck. YOu have the right idea of down sizing and saving every penny inorder to  enjoy your job, life of travel , recreation and making YouTube videos.  Home owners are burdened with maintenance, maintenance and more maintenance. YOu can watch the sky and world go by from your sweet little kitchen window.  Now a days, in most countries, we need every penny saved for retirement. Wishing you all the best. I watched your last appartment video a year ago and Youtube sent me this new video.

  I live in a small 1 bedroom apartment in Bangkok 32 sq metres . I have access to 2 outdoor swimming pools, gym, sauna and a large communal garden. The Sky train is 100 metres away and I pay £325 quid a month for rent.

  I am a Russian speaker (from Belarus) living in England in a relatively small town. I pay for my 1-bedroom flat approximately the same as you IN MOSCOW. My rooms are relatively big, but the kitchen is a box, even with no room for a table or a chair. The corridor is even worse, 75 sm. wide. You live in a great place with so much to see! Some words you pronounce in Russian quite well, carry on with it!

  It's actually not bad for a bachelor apartment, and Akademicheskaya is close to downtown. It might be a bit challenging to invite friends for dinner, but you can always spend time in a nice café instead. And I personally like that the kitchen is separated from the bedroom.

  Нормальная маленькая уютная квартирка, нужно только поменять обои, шторы и немного мебели. Одному жить вполне хорошо.

  Hey Jim! Congratulations on the new flat.<br><br>We are watching because we are nosy bastards on the Internet. Why else? 😂<br><br>The flat looks lovely in general. You can tell that the kitchen and the bathroom have been renovated fairly recently. The bedroom could use a bit of work for sure. Hopefully the landlord allows it. And the price is really good for a one room flat in Moscow.<br><br>Akademitcheskaya is a good part of Moscow. It’s a quiet family area. And it’s not too far from the center.

  That old light blue colour car is called &quot;Moskvich&quot;, which means resident of Moscow.

  Я смотрел себе квартиру в доме где ты купил кофе, там вполне вменяемые цены для этой локации, но в итоге взял в другом месте, район знаю отлично, я местный.

  Congrats on your new apartment!! By the way, the,skinny cupboard is usually for spices on rhemtop shelf and baking sheets on the bottom:)
