  Clearly the solution to Beady is to find an arbitrary code execution exploit that hasn’t been known for 25+ years and to perform the correct inputs to inject a Gecko code that will disable Beady’s swarm immunity

  Beady can't be hurt by swarming, but can he be hurt by dismissal? If he can be hurt by dismissal, can you use the frog keeping him a space away mechanic to push him down by having the frog jump on the ledge then on top of beady?

  I think the reason the reds were necessary for C-sticking the yellow on the ledge is simply because the pikmin have a position within the group relative to the center and they're motion is determined by that position. This is why they mostly don't overlap in the swarm, but instead swarm together. The exception to this is when the center is directed to be past a barrier, which is why you can get them to overlap by making them hug a wall. So, with the reds with you, you have a larger group of pikmin with the yellow trying to stay at the back. It doesn't matter that the swarm is small because they're all pressed up against the wall, as the center of the swarm has been C-sticked to past the wall, and the yellow is moving with respect to that central position, offset by the presumed locations of the reds in the swarm, even though they physically couldn't access their locations.
