  You step on the bus, and the fare is 2 coins. There is a poster with "Don't forget to pay your fare", and the guy on it has one coin on each eye. So basically, the bus driver is Charon, the ferryman of the dead.

  If you let the shop lifter in at night, he thanks you by not stealing from you anymore and buys a crap ton each time he comes through. Helping the humans in increases sales and give nice little perks.
