Mi papá, de casi 100 años, me contó que cuando niño en Iquique en barrio matadero vió una ronda de chinos fumando opio. Cantaban e iban cayendo al sueño uno a uno hasta el último. Esa colonia china en Iquique para el centenario de Chile dono recursos para crear la escuela Centenario N°6, dónde cantaban el himno chino, el de Taiwan hoy en día. Trabajaban en el barrio matadero, vendiendo las menudencias del vacuno, tales como guatas, patas, cabeza, etc.
