  When I walk into a non-Ikea furniture, I feel like I&apos;m walking into a funeral home because of how eerie they can be at times. I remember I walked into a store and the staff just stared at me and asked if I need anything, I said I&apos;m just looking around, their response was &quot;Oh.... ok&quot; and just stared at me while I walked around.<br>At Ikea I feel like I&apos;m welcomed, it&apos;s colorful and nice, when the Ikea near me opened I took my little sister and we had fun just walking around, making jokes and bought little plushies. We didn&apos;t even buy furniture, we just ha fun walking around..

  Why is it that seemingly every company which prioritizes customer value and satisfaction (IKEA, Costco, Valve) also does really well in their market? It&apos;s almost as if there&apos;s like a correlation between building a reputable brand, and getting customers into your shops.

  Ikea also lists the dimensions of the packs the items come in. So with careful measuring of the inside of your car you can drive six hours to the nearest IKEA, buy a couch and know for certain it’ll fit in your car with 1” of clearance.

  For me a big part of it is that you can get everything you need to outfit your first flat or house there. With other furniture stores you would have to go to separate stores for the cabinets and dressers, for the kitchen, for the bedframe, &nbsp;for the matress, for cuttlery and dishes, for household items like bins, broom, mirrors, lamps, picture frames ... With IKEA you can get ALL of these in one haul on one day. It is very common to have such a day when first moving out from your parents here.
