As a Chicagoan, props for moving Accardo up to GOAT. Capone is clearly the poster child of the outfit. But as well-deserved as it is, Accardo was so next level.

This former Capo is just super interesting. Really fascinating commentator. Blunt and honest with his opinions from an inside perspective. 👁️

Mike, the Lucchese family was originally the Gagliano crime family. Tommy Gagliano was the original boss of that family. Lucchese was the second boss and named it after himself. As, others did, like Gambino, Genovese and Colombo.

I sat thru the food recipes last night. Meatballs, chicken Parm, and simple pasta. Thank you. My meatballs were always crappy from the bread crumbs. I appreciate the tip.
But, I really appreciate sharing your values and beliefs. You guys were Italian Mafia. My dad was white biker Vietnam veteran that ran with the Mexican Mafia. The Italians were professionals. We were just rowdy partiers. But, it's the same life more or less. Just like you, my grandparents were upstanding citizens and respected for being good people. My dad went into the drug life and party scene. I was the third generation and had the choice. My dad walked me into the criminal life. So, that's how I started out. But, it was my grandparents influence that got me out of that life. Life can be hard sometimes. It's easy to go the shortcut route. It takes a lot of courage and strength to stay the course and take it on the chin like Job in the bible.
Anyways, thank you for sharing your family's recipes. I enjoy good food. I'm surprised your wife never told you about the Mexican tradition of eating tamales on Christmas Eve or black eyed peas on new years eve for good luck. We lived a similar life. Glad you're doing well and found a way to make money legit. A lot of us never did and wind up right back in prison. Salute

 Great list, Micheal.
You gave every Boss fair consideration for each category.
You can't argue with it one bit.

Tommy Lucchese is a GOAT, he took over Frank Costello’s political ties when Costello retired and ran The Lucchese Family at his peak, who actually made the most money per member, all throughout the 60’s.
