The key thing missing from Ferrell's impersonation is the smile and joy always bubbling in Harry.

He pretty much was the voice of Midwest Baseball for over 50 years, considering he called St Louis Cardinals games, and for the Cubs and the Sox.

I needed this video. The whole time I thought it was Phil Rizzuto that came up with the Holy Cow.

Jimmy Piersall once got into a fight with Billy Martin before a Yankees-Red Sox game on May, 24, 1952

I can ONLY imagine the party harry threw in the ultimate skybox when the cubs won the world series!!! You know he was doing the play by play for all those that are no longer with us.

Seeing Harry Caray with WGN News anchor Allison Payne in the booth towards the end was real delightful in many ways. May they both RIP

Legend. Him and Ueck are my all-time favourites.

My grandpa took me to my first MLB game, Cubs vs. Dodgers June 19th 1996. I caught a foul ball, my grandpa though, he ended up on TV. My grandpa had a big beard at the time, and he was sitting there and the camera caught him Harry Caray said "That guy was clean shaven when this game started." I was so pissed that I didn't end up on TV, but now that I'm older, maybe a bit wiser, I'm glad I got the ball and grandpa got the coverage. He got to have that moment with a legend of baseball lore, and he deserved it.

When we won, the first person my mom and I brought up was Carey. Carey, Hawk, and Pat Foley will always be known as the voices of Chicago sports
