  So you carve a Chanel into the plate thus establishing the edge and then scribe and cut the purfling channel. I’ll try this method. Then you have a little metal tool to press purfling in the groove after gluing. Great video.  Im 79 but still learning .  Thank you so much

  I’m currently doing purfling if my first violin and must thank you very much for sharing your skills.   I feel inspired to do better when I watch your videos because the quality of your work is so high.  The videos are also very well photographed and produced. Purfling is nerve wracking for me but I feel more confident when I watch you work.

  Thank you for the video Davide it is so valuable to see this process in detail.  I'm curious what glue you use to laminate the pear and poplar layers when you assemble the purfling? I notice it must withstand the heat of the bending iron without separating or sliding between layers.
