As you all know, Old Du works in the legal profession, and has spent most of his life in the field of law. Law emphasizes two things: first, evidence; second, logic—or we might say, common sense. If something has neither evidence nor aligns with common sense, Old Du will absolutely not believe it, and I don’t recommend my followers believe it either. In the case of Yang Lanlan, from the very moment it ignited public opinion, whether among Chinese or foreigners, the first reaction was: “This is real.” Why? Because—“She is the child of a high-ranking CCP elite.” These seven words alone fulfill the entire global imagination about the children of Chinese Communist Party elites. It seemed no evidence was needed, because logically it all fit perfectly. As a result, most people almost instinctively chose to believe. And after believing, the very next line would be: “Sigh, the Communist Party is truly corrupt. Who exactly is behind this girl?” Over this period, dozens of netizens have sent me private messages, hoping I’d talk about the Yang Lanlan case. My uniform reply has been—I have been paying attention to it from the very first day it broke. I have been trying through all possible channels to find out the inside story. But without solid information, Old Du will not speak rashly. Why? Because this matter is too sinister, too deep. I say it is “deep water” for at least six reasons: 1. The Beidaihe Conference, the top-secret meeting concerning whether Xi Jinping will remain in office after 2027, is at its most critical stage. 2. A spark—an incident in Jiangyou, Sichuan—has ignited an almost nationwide wave of protests. 3. A nationwide martial law–style iron curtain is rapidly falling. 4. Several of Xi Jinping’s direct relatives are in Australia. 5. Australia is a country governed by the rule of law, with extremely strict anti–money laundering laws. Huge amounts of funds in Australian banks must have their sources verified as legal. For a young woman to have such astronomical deposits, ninety percent of the time it must be “legitimate” income—but how many people in China could legally earn over ten trillion RMB? That’s nearly one-tenth of China’s entire annual fiscal revenue! If the rumors are true, there’s only one person in the world with that capability—Xi Jinping. It is said that even his “royalty income” is astronomical, and together with various business operations and returns, the relevant figures almost exactly match. 6. This young woman is a protected person jointly by the Chinese and Australian governments. Her personal information is known to both governments. Under such enormous public pressure, they should have stepped forward to clarify and address the suspicions, yet both governments chose silence—because she is too important. This level of protection can only be achieved through an intergovernmental agreement, and the only person in the world likely to enjoy such treatment is Xi Jinping. Think about it—at such a critical juncture, an incident like this occurs, and it’s able to ferment inside the tightly censored Great Firewall. Is this normal? It’s not! It’s too sinister! My judgment is: the occurrence of this incident may have been accidental; but its spread was certainly deliberate. And the spearhead of this conspiracy is aimed directly at Xi Jinping. Today, let’s delve deeper into this matter.
