  It's funny a lot of people say "poor" but in a lot of people's realities, they are simple and happy. I get it, some people struggle but a lot are happy and rich in other ways. That's me... wouldn't want it any other way. And I live in South Florida

  It’s unfortunate, but these little towns won’t last long.  Developers will do the same thing there that they’ve already done to all the other  nice little towns in Florida.  They’ll develop it. The wildlife, farms, ranches and groves will all be mowed down in the name of progress.   Where I live, it used to be all cattle farms and Orange Groves 40 years ago.  Now it’s all Walmart, Home Depot, Dollar General, and apartment complexes everywhere.  The main road used to be a two lane dirt road, now it’s eight lanes of paved highway.  It’s very depressing.

  I live in Bradenton, home of Tropicana and people don't realize that most of the OJ is brought into the port of Manatee on ships out of South America. Sad.

  Ive sat and watched probably 5 documentaries in a row. You guys are making some of the best content Ive seen recently.  No politics no bs, just covering whats going on. Thank you guys keep it up.

  Brit living in Florida here - Rural & Wilderness Florida is honestly stunning. I routinely go for hikes & runs out in the wilderness. Palmetto bushes, Pine trees, evergreen Oaks, sandy soil...  it's very uniquely Floridian and gives off a very calming energy

  As a kid I remember when commercials in the  late 80s and 90's used to tout Florida's citrus/Orange Juice.

  As a lifelong Floridian, I’ve learned to just take the country backroads. There are so many hidden gems you can find around the state. Some of my favorite state parks, forests, wildlife refuges, & conservation areas are ones that I just randomly came across one day while driving.

  Immokalee raised right here. I been in Immokalee since 2004. I love this little town with all my heart.

  I live in Seminole County. I drove to Naples one day for work, there and back in one day. GPS took me smack dab down through the middle of the state right to Lake Okeechobee. How incredibly rural it was, all the farmlands, it was like the midwest. It absolutely blew my mind. It was beautiful. Love to take that journey again one day.
