  I remember the violence in my home as a kid, violence soaked in alcohol from my father. By bedroom was upstairs and I could hear the commotion downstairs, falling, overturned furniture. I’d hide in my closet as a little girl and beg God to make it stop and to take my father away. My mom was tough, she gave him a final ultimatum, me and your kids or you and your booze. My dad quit drinking and smoking on the same day with a case of beer (unopened) in the fridge in our basement and half a carton of cigarettes on his dresser. He chose his family, never drank or smoked again and never got violent again. They made it to their 50th wedding anniversary and he passed of cancer a month later. <br><br>RIP Dad ❤

  Yes ladies, it starts with the verbal and escalates and it affects your kids. &nbsp;Been there. &nbsp;At the very first, leave as you are not the special one who will fix a broken person. &nbsp;Save yourself and don&apos;t find out the hard way. &nbsp;They never change.

  I am so glad she had a little bit of happiness before she died. I really admired her strength to move overseas and started a new life. 💕

  Michael Turner was living in a convalescent home next to my apartment building back in 2004. He would be outside in his wheelchair just sitting there talking to people in the neighborhood. Really nice guy

  Most ppl stay because of their kids.. but i left for my kids.. Its never ok to expose ur kids to ANY form of abuse.. Abuse comes in All types of forms..

  Tina Turner&apos;s first cousin used to babysit me in Chicago. She was kind, warm, beautiful and classy. Regarding Tina Turner, I suspect her son&apos;s always resented her for not protecting them when they really needed it. Sadly, she never chose them. They eventually understood this. This terminal wound followed them to the their last breath. Tina Turner was simply the best on stage. As a mother, it appears she was not. People, love and protect the children in your lives. For it is you that they depend on and seek refuge. You are their model, be it for a minute or a lifetime. Love one another. &nbsp;💜

  First ladies, if he doesn&apos;t make you feel safe , verbal and strikes you. Get out . The impact on you ,and your children will have a lasting impact. Be strong. Your children will respect you as they grow 🙏🙏

  I have loved Tina size I was 8-9 yrs old, in 1990-91!! She is why I left an abusive relationship when I was grown!!

  You say they had a life around famous people most would envy. But you are careful not to disclose a life around famous people looks good on the surface but is filled with nightmares hidden in the backside of that industry. Truth is coming on all of this and every secret will be revealed. The industry is a very dark place. A very very dark place.
