Reminder: if you want to complain about all the reading, remember that this mod is literally based off of a visual novel, a game from a genre that consists of like 99% reading and 1% looking at pictures.

I never thought they would expand Monika THIS much, there's remixes, more weeks, easter eggs, and bonus songs, plus lots of dialouge and creepy turns. Everyone who worked on this mod did an amazing job, 10/10 would play again

If you played ddlc before, you know something's wrong when Sayori's the club president.

"I haven't seen Sayori this happy in a long time, I haven't had to go out of my way to wake her up in time for school, she's always outside with a smile on her face"

Ok as someone who was really attached to Sayori when DDLC was first released, this line literally brought tears to my eyes.

I love how when Monika switches styles when she sang glitcher.

Sad how it ends though. Despite Monika trying to redeem herself (not that anyone would have done any better in her position) she still ends up in the same trappings as before. Her “full week” mod at least gave her a nice ending, but to fade away screaming into the void is just terrifying. Even in this mod the only reason she “goes back” is in an attempt to “fix things”, which leads to her still trying to find a way out of this prison with the exception that she’s trying to free the others as well. Despite these intentions it still only ends in her deletion and banishment to the lonely, maddening static purgatory where she’s unable to even kill herself. I hope there’s a hidden ending where this bleak fate isn’t the case.

1:08:54 I like how Monika acknowledges that you're using OBS, just like she would if you were playing DDLC.

The fact that the camera specifically focuses on Sayori every cutscene in the classroom is great. No matter who's talking its always on the side of the room where Sayori is standing and i think that's a neat detail.
