Thank you Tia for sharing your story with us. Let’s keep telling our stories and speaking out against the harm of Christianity. Hopefully our stories will help Christian women leave the patriarchal control of religious beliefs so we can all live our authentic lives in safety.

I love following Tia. I grew up like she did, and have suffered several abusive relationships and marriages.....Shiny Happy People was extremely triggering but absolutely necessary documentary to watch. It opened my eyes to so much I had buried and was in denial about. And to find out i wasn't alone was so healing for me. Thank you Tia for sharing your story. Hi<br>Thanks for sharing,<br>I was raised evangelical pentecostal,<br>It was the most traumatic time while marriage Then divorcing a “good Christian man” which almost destroyed me.<br>I’m dealing with childhood trauma & religion trauma now at 66yr old.<br>Glad you are spreading awareness.<br>Iv been in counseling for 7yrs.
