  State Farm got sued for over a billion dollars in claims a few years back, and settled for 250 million. Saved themselves 750 million. It’s time to break up these monopolies.

  They didn&apos;t SAVE billions. They STOLE billions through fraudulent claim denials<br><br>Insurance in the US has become one big scam industry. Time to reign it in with massive legislation. No more for-profit insurance models.

  I was a private practice attorney for a little over 10 years, during which I dealt with countless insurance claims. I don&apos;t care who your insurance provider is or how great of an experience you might have had with previous claims, if your insurance pays out on a claim, it&apos;s not because they&apos;re doing the right thing or holding up their end of the bargain, they&apos;re paying because they don&apos;t see an easy way to get out of it. Period. If there&apos;s a way they can avoid paying you, they will. Your personal circumstances, your sob story, your loyalty to the company, none of that matters. If there&apos;s a way to avoid paying you, they 100% will. Insurance companies are rotten, heartless organizations, and I haven&apos;t the first clue how these people sleep at night knowing they&apos;re in the business of ruining people&apos;s lives.
