  What a beautiful display of respect and conviction.<br><br>It was quite noticeable how strongly Lila pressed into Catholic doctrine, yet John Bevere showed real restraint. He chose not to go into what he felt were unnecessary details and thoughtfully steered the conversation away from division.<br><br>I genuinely admire the maturity and wisdom he demonstrated in the way he handled those topics. I pray to grow like him in my faith.

  John Bevere came to speak at my church when I was in my early teens. He was sitting a few rows in front of me before the pastor brought him up to speak and I quietly asked him to sign one of his books that I had just bought. He turned around with a big smile, asked me how to spell my name, and signed “Finish Strong, (my name)” <br>I will never forget his genuine kindness, and even though I’m Catholic now, I listen to anything him and Lisa speak on. They are the real deal!!

When I got saved, I started to do something I had never done before, I started to look for other believers. I wanted to go to church, I had a hunger and a thirst to be connected to the body of Christ. I didn’t look for a piece of bread, I looked for those whose hearts had turned to Jesus.

  As a lifelong Catholic, this evangelical man somehow described Christ&apos;s love for us in a way that feels tangible to me. I&apos;ve heard people talk about desiring God and how much he loves us, but for some reason, the connection didn&apos;t happen to me until just now. It&apos;s like he helped my brain envision myself in my brokenness and, at my core, a deep desire to be seen, understood, and loved as a whole person in my imperfection. And then I envisioned all of those needs and desires being met in a person - and then realized I&apos;m thinking of Jesus! That IS God&apos;s love for us! I used to be ashamed thinking about God knowing everything about me - instead, I&apos;m realizing that being seen by God is actually the ultimate form of love and compassion. Imagine not having to explain yourself or tour drives, your triggers, your excuses. God sees it, and he understands. And he loves you and me anyways and wants us to be forgiven. I finally understand why people talk about wanting to spend time with God and desiring him and wanting to talk about him. When you finally feel that all-encompassing love, how could you want or desire anything else?? It&apos;s such a humbling revelation, and I&apos;m so grateful to have stumbled across this podcast. I&apos;ve been looking for how I want to pray, and the desire was the missing key for me. God bless.

  After reading most of the comments I realize why we need more man like him. And why God call him out of religion to a personal relationship whit Him. I pray you all growth closer to Christ as please pray for me to do the same

  Reading all these comments, I just want to say, there will be sheep and goats in every church and Christ will send the angels out to separate them and we may be shocked who&apos;s hearts and lives are truly His. Bless you all xx
