Seth, you are a masterful interviewer. You are soooo good at stepping aside to let your guest's words in and not just constantly argue. Masterfully done! Bravo!

She’s talking about the human experience and the desire to express strong emotional feelings by claiming expressive words in language without any of the supernatural, superstitious and spurious attachments that religious users of words attach to them. She’s amazing!

I am an atheist with a Master of Divinity degree (in addition to my MD). My deconstruction came at the very end of my seminary career, thanks to two Quaker clinical pastoral education directors. I still "do theology" because humankind seems driven to have religious experience. If we think of God as being what we hold ultimate about our existence, the secular world does a disservice to itself by letting the religious define God. We wind up with a masculine, violent, destructive perspective on existence. Thank you for this interview.

This is the word I use instead of spiritual: "’Awe’ is the feeling of being in the presence of something vast that transcends your current understanding of the world." - Dacher Keltner

I'm excited to watch this! A lot of people are looking for spirituality, without religion. They need options that are free from con artists / scams.

She's one of the few real ones, Seth. And I say that as someone who studies in the same field. I really hope you'll feature her some more of your show.

Never heard of her before today and Im quite thankful to be introduced to her. Its rare to find people who actually genuinely GET the point.

Awesome job on inviting her to your podcast, this is my first impression of you and being her follower, I can confidently say you did a great job allowing your viewers to know her and for her to explain and show who she is and her work. Thank you!
