What is this???
The MC's parents and family supporting her and giving her love?
The Prince's parents being super pissed at him and making him face consequences?
Damn, an actual manga where people are acting like people?

One of the rare times where the parents of the protagonist don't add insult to injury but support them and pick them back up onto their feet

I love that the family finds out about this and all agree to literally just leave the country.

The prince is a fool. His mother, the queen, highly favored Anneliese. Yet he exiled her, which is basically slapping his mother in the face.

“Typical: ‘Hey, I'm the typical manga prince who acts without thinking, accuses people without evidence, punishes people without any authority, and on top of that, I told everyone I had an affair with another woman while I was still engaged, but hey, she's the bad one; I'm just doing what's right!!’”😅

a little bit came up beyond this...the queen is starting to scare me, she's effectively made it clear Cain isn't taking the throne due to what he's done (i can only imagine his reaction when he hears this) and she is sending his younger brother to try and get Anneliese back, offering him the throne if he succeeds, and while part of him is willing to try to get her back, he's also somewhat reluctant.

Really has me on edge though wondering what could happen if Anneliese refuses to return, especially now that she's kind of doing her own things with her life...because with the aura this queen has she might star a war over it.

The Queen and King(?) are giving power couple vibes. King seems to be the calmer of the two, but based on a few frames, he's probably just...quietly terrifying

My favorite is when the Queen looks at her son, and says, Exile is a Royal Decree only and isn't something her son can do. Which is true. Exile is the harshest punishment, only given by the rulers, not the heirs. Something majority of manga writers don't understand about feudal law. "Well, he's royalty too, so he can do anything a Queen or King can do..." No, they can't. So, the Queen pointing out this detail was not only refreshing by highly accurate.

Though this isn't the first time I read something about the mc being exiled and parents worrying for the children and king/ queen is angry about the idiotic prince behavior

It's still good to read
