I love watching fisherman outside of their comfort zone and learning new things.  Everything about it, the ups the lows, the anxiety, adrenaline... an entire process unfolding over just a few hours.   Having the humility to understand you will fail, and the courage to keep going is great to see.  Having a steady and calm captain that can guide you through it makes all the difference.  Great job to the both of you and congrats on the incredible eats!

I swear if I didn’t know any better, I would’ve assumed kasper has never fished before.

I literally yelled at my phone, “Reel down, now lift and step back.“ That was some intense fishing with an amazing outcome. Great job to the both of you.

Matt seeing you being patient with Kaspar reminded me of a story when I went fishing on a boat with my dad and his friend many years ago. I was only experienced with catching fish from ponds and rivers, I never tried off shore fishing before so the first time hearing a skipper bark orders at me had me fumbling with my line and directions of what to do lol. He later let loose after being stared at by the other people who were on his boat as well. In a way I was in Kaspar's shoes as well, I am happy you learned to become more patient with teaching new comers though! Can't always expect everyone to be a professional at first glance. 💯🧡

Good job guys!  Salmon fishing in a boat is totally different than shore fishing and you can’t be expected to know everything on your first trip.  Netting especially is an art!  You did well, next trip will be way more intuitive!
