  Part of what I like about your videos is that you have a great deal of compassion for the people involved -- especially those whose humanity have been forgotten, often reduced to flat characters for the sake of a spooky ghost story.

  Nobody will agree with opinion (as controversial as it may) but, a haunting ending in a landlord dispute over damaged walls and the house’s ruined reputation might be the most Edinburgh thing imaginable. That lawsuit is what makes the Molesworth case so interesting because something genuinely happened in that house, even if we can’t prove what caused it. I make videos digging into overlooked British places and exactly these half-forgotten stories where the physical location outlives the explanation. The saddest detail is Jane and Matilda though. Strip away all the later ghost-story embellishment and you’re left with a grieving family, a frightened neighbourhood and two sisters whose names somehow survived nearly 200 years.

  Poor Jane--as if a young girl confined to her bed with a serious illness, would have had the strength (let alone motivation) to create those disturbances. 😔

  I can't help but think of the "knockers" miners were aware of.   ..And, who was buried under that house...ancient even.   Perhaps someone was even trying to help her...

  You very briefly touched on it, before pulling back, but it is notable how many poltergeist cases revolve around teens &amp; pre teens, particularly girls. <br> It doesn&apos;t sound like Jane would have had the energy, never mind the inclination, to manufacture a hoax. <br><br> Another fantastic upload, from one of the most rivetted channels on YT. <br> Sunday nights wouldn&apos;t be the same without Eerie Edinburgh.

  Very odd case, EE. &nbsp;Can&apos;t blame the landlord for being upset about his property being destroyed. I mean, seriously, you don&apos;t go about knocking down walls, shooting wainscotting, and tearing up floorboards simply because there&apos;s knocking! &nbsp;I think Jane was grieving her sister, Matilda, and manifesting it as poltergeist activity. Poor girl was upset. 😥
