Slavery is not just a painful chapter in history it is still a heartbreaking reality for countless people today, even as we speak, lives are being stolen, freedom is being denied, and human beings are being treated as commodities. The world may have changed, but for many, the chains have never truly disappeared.

The tour guide was very thorough and patient in telling this story; he is a great educator in the way he was also spelling some of the words that might be misheard.

My forefathers were strong many survived and I give thanks that they did because I and my family would not be here today. 59.8 percent of my African DNA is Yoruba who were taken from Badagary to Jamaica.
Thanks for producing this informative documentary.
A more informative documentary need to be done about socio politics in the region. How many prominent families within the region collaborated with slavèrs and made their wealth from slavery too? Are there any slave registers or accounts of the voyages from Nigeria to the Americas?
