There’s nothing more Shakespearean tragedy than “The Tales of Jenny and Schreech”

Renegade reporting for duty, I have a degree in literature, I'm so glad when someone with a scholar background analyses Ren. Thank you so much ❤❤
REN is a reader, he enjoys Dystopian litterature the most. You will enjoy his poetry and references.

Ren puts A LOT of literary references in his music, he’s an insanely intelligent and talented musician. Go down the rabbit hole and his fans will blow up your channel with nothing but love!

By the way, my favorite reactors have something to add to the songs... Camera operators, philographers, singing coaches, etc., and this is a new level of education! Thank you!

Ren is Shakespeare set to music. Just wait. If Ren drank, he'd say "Hold my beer." His favorite author is Vonnegut, but you can tell he reads anything he can get his hands on. There's an Orwell reading happening on another reactors channel, inspired by Ren. One of my favorite lines from The Tale of Jenny and Screech, is "Sirens sound in the distance to the beat of Jenny's feet,
A symphony of the night that echoes crime on London's streets"
Please listen to the Tales, the 13 minute one with them in order!! VERY important. Ren is a modern Bard, his Genre is REN. After the Tales, try something light-hearted. "Power", "Back on 74/Message in a Bottle", or even Ren busking with his band The Big Push, performing "I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/HipHop". He has HUNDREDS of songs, remakes, collaborations... Even check out his "One Million Subscribers: Defining Success" He doesn't sing a note, and it's still a masterpiece. I'm Gen X, and Ren is the most talented and genius Artist, Musician, Lyricist, Human I have ever heard. Maybe listen to the story of how he was deathly ill for YEARS. Misdiagnosed for most of it. Years later, they found out he had unchecked Lyme disease, picking up other diseases like MCAS along the way. Couldn't even end things, since he had watched his best friend do that, and seen the toll it took on his family. He was stuck, much like I've been. I've been ill almost as long as Ren has been alive. Ankylosing Spondylitis, MCAS, Fibro, etc... Bedridden since 2018. And this young man has taught me SO MUCH!! I'm still alive because of him. Take a trip down Ren's Rabbithole. We, the Renegades, will help guide you. We get to relive seeing Ren for the first time through reactors. If you watch it, we will come!
The Renegades have been the kindest, most loving community I have ever witnessed, much less been a part of! Ren found me in the start of 2023. Ren finds you when you need him most.
I hope I've made sense! If not, another Renegade will! Can't wait til the next one!! 💜💜💜

I think the genius of Ren in this song is that he can include the religious and atheist in the same verse.

If you keep exploring Ren's work then maybe, like me, you will start to see echoes of Catullus, Aeschylus (very specifically the Oresteia), Aristophanes and Hesiod, as well as Shakespeare and Milton. Whitman definitely came to my mind. Ren is a big fan of Vonnegut and Orwell. And his fans do talk about 'the book club'
