Angela might be ghetto & loud but she was Sheila’s REALEST friend outta that whole group. & another thing that irritates me about most of Tyler Perry’s movies is that Tyler Perry always cast himself as the good guy with no flaws like I never see him play no villainous role outside of “A fall from grace” it’s like where’s the range Mr. Perry?

This film is one of his best works EVER. The sequel is lackluster compared to this

The fact that they all have successful careers saved the plot for me. We didn't see a drug, illegal money, or "urban" abuse.

This is my 2nd favorite TP movie after "The Family That Prey's". When Tyler Perry has a cast full of seasoned actors he definitely tries harder.

Diane simply didn’t really like that man and that was solidified in the 2nd one when she had that emotional affair at work 😩.

People sleep on Janet as an actress despite her starting off as an actress. She should have had a bigger acting career. Why Did I get Married was Janet's third film and it came years after Nutty Professor 2. She have had offers but timing wasn't right. She was cast in films like The Matrix, X-Men, Scream 3 and Jerry Maguire, but touring kept her from doing those films. I would like to see her get back into acting particularly sitcoms. Janet started her career as a sitcom actress.

They all met in college but Shelia was the only one without a career of her own even after Mike.

And why did you get married too? She said I remember the pink floors with my blood on it. That's how we knew Sheila knew Mike was an abusive
