The best quality of Fredrik and his books and this episode is that they are so deeply human. It's like when we forget what life is actually about , Fredrik says or writes simple truths that a lot of us forget, especially in the modern world.

These two might not be the smartest people, but they are some of the best. Thank you for sharing.

In the Swedish military they often say: it's better to ask and be stupid for 2 seconds than be quiet and be stupid for eternity.

Highlight: Find what you have in common with the bully or the person you have a conflict with (instead of the common idea of looking for the good in the other person). Brilliant! This is where we can then find connection, our own personal growth, our ability to truly see and acknowledge the other person, to meet each other where we are at.

Someone once observed that the automobile instigated the most significant change ever to happen in human relationships. No longer are we forced to have regular interactions with the people in our own communities. The sort of quality time that is necessary for deep friendships only occurs when the prerequisite of quantity time has been met, and after the automobile, that prerequisite is no longer an obligatory part of life. At present, we don't simply need to learn how to make friends, we need to learn how to create a lifestyle where friendships are even possible.
