Best review of the x2d i've seen so far, no BS about the bowden extruder, even comlimenting it. I see the comparison between these printers and will probably choose the X2D in the end, thank you very much.

Excellent summary and review. I totally agree. I was back and forth between the P2S, H2S and H2D. Then the X2D came out. I waited a couple weeks to see what others said about it but ultimately took the leap into the X2D because it felt like the perfect balance of those other machines in a very reasonable package. 500 hours in and I still love it.

Bought the x2d after I screwed up the toolhead board on my x1c. I absolutely love it. Hoping to get the x1c running again in the near future too

Here I got the X2D after exchanging the P2S I didnt have for long. I am planning on getting the H2C and H2D down the line to set up my own makerspace. But for now, the X2D will be perfect for my usecase. Saving me countless hours and material compared to my previous single nozzle setup

I went with the X2D and love it. I use the auxiliary extruded almost exclusively for PETG support structure.

The x2d reveals such a bizarre internet phenomenon, it’s like they all collectively got amneqsia about Bowden extruders and ignore that they were the bread and butter of the industry for ages. And toward the end before direct drive finally became the default, they were very very good. Bambu comes out and says “we only recommend this for support” and suddenly Bowden was never good lmao.
