  They don’t care about how things really are. They didn’t acquire their position based on facts, so you can‘t use facts to change their minds.

  The people that moan nowadays about immigrants would have been cheering on Mosley and targeting Jews if they lived in the 1930&apos;s.<br><br>These people bang on about &quot;British Culture&quot; but contribute nothing to it. They live in self-created prisons of fear, either lapping up the hatred spread by social media, or actively creating the climate of xenophobia and suspicion. <br><br>There&apos;s a great life to be had outside of scapegoating immigrants and hating people who are &quot;different&quot;. Most of us, where I live, just get along and actively participate in having fun and being part of a vibrant community where you&apos;re accepted regardless of colour or religion.

  I’ve worked in a few countries and I’m well travelled, one thing sticks out like a sore thumb. &nbsp;Wherever I’ve been, everyone is United (family, friends, community) but in England everyone is bitter and spiteful towards each other. There’s no togetherness and people almost hate anyone in their social circle doing well in life. The UK is a divided and expensive place to live.

  I wonder how many of those people born in the UK who are vehemently against immigrants coming into the country, would complain if they themselves where barred from emigrating to any other country?

  There&apos;s a list of &apos;other&apos; people that these individuals don&apos;t like and immigrants were merely top of the list.<br>When that problem gets solved those same individuals will target whoever is next on their list.<br>And so on and so forth, because it&apos;s always someone else&apos;s fault that those sad, miserable and misguided individuals are sad/ miserable, depressed, angry, poor etc etc.

  It’s genuinely sad to see our country go like this, I served in the military and always contributed like all my family did. Yet, now I am scared to even start a family, I don’t want them to grow up here any longer as right wing ideology and immigrant hatred increases every year. Reform may very well win the next election and I may even leave myself. People will probably want me to go, it’s heartbreaking for me as if this nation was under threat, I would be one of the first to re-enlist and potentially go and die to save everyone here, but so many vast swathes of people in this country would not accept me.

  It&apos;s a failing of the whole media system that net migration is becoming the football rather than illegal migration. The people who haven&apos;t been coming could be paying into our higher education industry or propping up our social care systems.
