Michael Jackson once said that he cried watching this performance, he also said that no one moves like James Brown and is his biggest idol.

James came to  my hospital in Okinawa and put on a magical show for all of us. What really blew me away is that he visited ALL the patients  after the show. He actually spent a few minutes with each and every one of us!! !  missed seeing him  at the Charlottesville, Virginia and he died  just a few later. The memory of him will stay with me forever.

He was more than an entertainer for some of us coming of age in the turbulent  50,60, He was a successful Black Man that stayed close to who HE WAS !!!! ( never Forgot  where he came from and what it took to go forward !! Another TRUE Pioneer !!!
