26:27 Wojtek (Voy-tek) was so beloved by the troops he served with (yes, he was an enlisted bear) that his unit's symbol remains a bear holding an artillery shell to this day. Also, he scared a German spy so badly, he started talking without the Polish having to interrogate him. Yarnhub and The Fat Electrician both have great videos on him.

I absolutely adore how far Rosie has spec'd into the 'One Of The Bros' Skill Tree, while also being the most chill VTuber I have ever seen.

So, looked it up, and the bananas are a real thing, but the picture that went with the description was photoshopped. They're called blue because they are a blue-green before they're ripe; they turn a pale yellow when actually ripe

The "feet" one is basically "I had this variable named Legend_Handles, then I shortened it to Leg_Hands in a pass of "shortening", and then I shortened it again because "WTF ARE LEG HANDS?"

8:50 Oh, he should have taken a drink from a cold soda after that. After eating mints or menthol or anything like that, any kind of cold soft drink just burns straight to your nose, and it doesn't help for spice either. Worse than hellfire.

25:41 That one's not a specifically developer joke either. Just that he named something legend_handles which then shortened to leg_hands because people like naming things short, which then became feet because hands for legs; leg hands are just feet

14:59 I feel like the partner of someone so obsessed with tacos would be concerned rather than comforted by the words 'let me hold you like a taco'.

For anybody who doesn't get the meme at 1:40, lookup the Astartes Dreadnought from Warhammer 40k. Their motto is "Even in death, I still serve." TL;DR, if you're a venerated Space Marine warrior, when you're on death's door, they'll take your broken body and put you into a sarcophagus filled with life support systems that allows you to pilot a 20' mech with big guns on it! Sounds good, right? No, they put you into suspended animation between fights, and eventually you'll likely go insane from the confinement and sensory isolation. Hence, "Eligible for rehire," even though they're dead.
