  I met him once in a comedy club in new york during his time away from the spotlight. He didnt really perform comedy, was just speaking with us mostly, making fun of us, talking about society, etc. He stayed until 3 am or so. It was very unique. I think he wanted to feel like a person, and we did manage to do that for him that day.

  I’m trans and I don’t have an issue with him. I make jokes about myself being trans and it only makes me stronger. Love Dave - he’s an icon!

  Met him when he came to my restaurant. I offered to take care of his meals but he still ended up paying and tipping all of my staff. Before he left, he took the time to talk to my staff and even took pics and signed autographs. Dave is a Legend.

  I met him after the moving to Africa, he was with his family and I stopped walking towards him. Me and him lock eyes, then he nods to me. After he walked his family up, he came back down and took a picture with me after waiting for me to get the free time to do so. He is a real guy.

  About his friend Daphne. He actually said he wasn’t sure if her suicide was caused by the hate she got. But he said he knows it didn’t help
