  I have seen old Greyhound buses built into motorhome and they last for decades infact there are several for sale right now for half or less of what they want for a brand new motor homes.<br>The way I would fix a vapor lock is take a water hose and split it long ways and put it over the metal fuel lines from the fuel pump.<br>it worked every time for everyone that I know who has done it.<br>They also built the small motorhomes on the Ford Econoline on the 1 ton &nbsp;chassis with the 360 Ford engine unless you ordered it with a different engine like the 460.

  Back in the 60s and 70s in Australia we had these gasolene/ petrol &nbsp;powered Bedford buses that made very good, cheap, reliable motor homes . They were easy to work on and parts were easy to find because the mechanicals were mostly interchangeble with the Bedford trucks at the time. <br>Not very fast a test of your patience when going up long hills but at least you got there , if not today , then &nbsp;tomorrow was<br>O. K. 😅😅😅

  Dirt cheap yes but national RV parks won&apos;t let you in because if it&apos;s older than they say is allowed into the park so where you gonna go? Nowhere &nbsp;or your back property only.

I&apos;ll never buy another junk &quot;Rebuild&quot; again, not when I can get a Stage 2 Performance trans for a bit more money and whose upgraded internals translate into longer life and faster, harder shifts for my<br>upgraded 4.3 V-6. They make tough built trans for 700R4&apos;S, 2004R, 4L60E and 4L80E&apos;S (fits the 454 GMC V-8 Featured here) and a BTO765R4. &nbsp;The 700R4 Stage 2 Trans on my one owner lightly driven GMC Safari VAN has lasted well over 20 years and still kicks butt. It&apos;s the ONLY way.

  Across the street from me sits a 30 something foot Pace Arrow Vision. It&apos;s so long that it has got a dummy rear axle making it 6 wheel when it comes to the back. The engine sounded good when it came to them moving it around in their yard. It looks to be probably 15 years old, maybe even older (I&apos;m guessing)? The thing looks good considering how old everything is. I&apos;ve yet to make up my mind whether I want to live in an R/V or not ? &nbsp; However, there it sits. I&apos;ve another six months in this apartment &amp; then I&apos;m relocating to another part of town. The question is, do I want to live in an R/V or a fixed apartment ? &nbsp;People, let me know, is it worth it living in an R/V ?

  Don’t waste your time. &nbsp;I have owned 2 GMC Motorhome’s for a total of 36 years . This bot can’t even show pics of a GMC while talking about one. What a joke.
