James May sitting on a bench eating a sandwich is infinitely more entertaining than 99% of media these days. No sarcasm.

The fact that James may can sit on a bench in New York and not get mobbed by fans is almost unbelievable. I would lose it.

James is one of the most understated and self-contained people ive seen. Many people would even (wrongly) call him boring. Yet a 13 minute long video of him eating a couple of bites from some sandwiches gets 750k views in 1 month. he has to be one of the most unlikely superstars in the world.

“A sandwich isn’t something you want like you want a shepherds pie” might be one of the most English things James has said

Can we take a minute to appreciate how kind and friendly James was to the restaurant workers?

Usually, old folk are confused by technology. Its refreshing to see an old man confused by a sandwich 😁
