Very well thought out! I've walked Frances (March) and Le Puy (April) in a 18L "camelbak daywalker" backpack + waist pack and it's somehow been enough even though I've had snow both times! It weighs 4.5kg, plus 2L of water. It does mean hand washing clothes every night, but I've never wished I brought more. I also hang my fleece from my pack!

I use diaper pins instead of pegs, I have had pegs stolen before and my stuff left hanging off one peg. On windy days pins will keep your clothes on the line

Where sleep is so important if you are comfortable with your set up that is what matters.
As far as clothes go you could definitely slim that down with pieces you may love as I did.
First switch for me was the fleece and getting a Backcountry Highliner PrimaLoft Air-Perm Fleece Hoodie. I got this on Amazon. This is a feather lite fleece that is just amazing. I pair this with a Mountain Hardwear Kor Airshell wind jacket, totally amazing and a Mountain Hardware Crator Lake sunshirt with UV protection a joy to wear Just Buttersoft material. Thin enough for high heat.
I lost the T shirts and go with two tank tops, if you like Merino that's great, sadly I am alleric. The Kor Airshell jacket provides the coverage over the tanks if I want it.
These three main pieces pack so lite and super small, it's hard to believe.

For bottoms I bring 2 running shorts that I have had forever super thin, and 2 yoga pants and the ones I get are by Walifrey absolutely dirt cheap on Amazon. I don't like anything tight fitting so I go two sizes up and they then are more like jogging pants with pockets, you have to find the ones with pockets because they have a non pocket style too. Super lite but not see thru and again so soft, easy wash and dry and wash well. They don't pill or get weird but they feel almost like cotten, not like traditional spandex type yoga pants. No. They are amazing.
I bring a pair of running pants by Pioneer Camp on Amazon that are high stretch and water repellent as well as SPF 50 and have two good zip pockets plus a zip cell phone pocket. Easy wash, dry and soft. I have worn these in heavy rain and they repel water well and dry so quickly.
I can wear the yoga pants for bed, and also under the shorts or under the jogging pants in cooler weather. I just get black everything as far as bottoms go so it all matches.

I switched over to the Marmot Pre-Cip Eco rain jacket and it has features like pit zips and packable in it's pocket. I love the full collar and great hood and the adjustment points. A chin guard and great zippers with rain flaps, big pockets obviously. Performance is excellent and on par with my Columbia but much lighter. Obviously anything not Gortex may wet out eventually but has not on me yet two years in even in torrential rain. I also pack a One Wind ultralite rain poncho/shelter and this serves as a rain poncho, pack cover, sun shade or tarp, ground cover or sheet or even tent. Something clean to sit on. If it's brutally hot, I will wear this just to keep my pack and clothes faily dry but still have maximum ventilation.
This with the Kor Airshell to keep the flies, mosquitoes off and works amazingly well. Add in the lightweight running pants as well.

I just found the Mountain Hardware Ghost Wisperer down puffy on sale (July 2026) which brings my set up to three seasons. The packable puffy makes an amazing pillow I just bring a baby size pillow case. Last pieces are a Naturehike sleeping bag liner (not the typical silk stuff and super comfortable and a Get Out Gear down quilt ---or the Nature Hike LW180 summer sleeping bag. When things are really hot and could dip cold a night or two and head back up I find the quilt and liner combo works better. I just love the feel of the down quilt plus it's water resistant so I can use this say at the beach at night or outdoors as a blanket or cape.
If the temps are consistently cool the sleeping bag plus down puffy keeps me warmer as it traps in heat. I just stuff other stuff in my zipped pillow case.

I bring running gloves by Outdoirs Essentials on Amazon all year round. They are super lightweight but still warm. Touchscreen compatible and slightly water resistant and quick dry. Silicone grip. Perfect to wear under other winter gloves. I pack Sun protection cooling arm sleeves and these are great by Stelle on Amazon. Arm sleeves add a layer not maybe think about like a buff or gators. They make a huge difference if I am in short sleeves and temp drops. Under my primaloft fleece and or Kor Air shell, plus they layer over the running gloves. More UV protection mean less toxic sunscreen.

Sox, I wear Darn Tough and thin Darn Touch no show 'peds' basically for liners. Wearing two pairs of full sox make my feet swet so bad and just miserable. This combo adds just enough to do the trick.

I am not one for blisters and use a,lot of essential oils plus powder, but I still pack Leuko tape incase plus most other situations medical tape us needed. I pack a tiny repair kit rather then just sewing kit but not much bigger then you have. I wrap tape Leuko and Gorilla around a plastic card. In the middle I tape 8n a few sizes of stainless sewing needles, big eye, and wind thread around that. Everything stays neat, flat and compact. I put that all in a zip lock to fit the size.
I use Sea to Summit Sil nylon dry bags. I have a few 1L for tech, medical and repair in red, bathroom and one for shower and one for snacks. These are feather lite. I can snap the roll top buckle on my pack and not worry about rain. Great in wet bathrooms.
I have bigger ones, different sizes for food and clothes. These dry bags are the best.

I used a 33L which was a bit larger than needed, but also allowed me to carry trail runners with me (which I was prepared to abandon if weight became an issue). One item I used was a light pair of rain pants. As an aside and to lighten things up a bit, my second night on the Primitivo, I hung my socks, shirt and underwear to dry. In the morning, my underwear was gone! I was able to walk the rest of the way with just two pairs with no problem.

You will love the Matador case! Your soap lasts so much longer!

    Always enjoy your videos!

Recommendation: Instead of a brush, I travel with a 4" wooden comb (mine is a beech wood comb from Muji). It's nice and low-profile, and better for hair than plastic brushes.

I love my Deuter 26l which is my favourite Camino pack. I keep thinking I should find a lighter pack but can't walk away from the hip belt (with pockets), paddling and mesh back! Love my matador bag. It is amazing! One luxury item is my Kobo (Canadian e-book) on which I usually have a guidebook and then other fiction for reading at night. It is a great low light which I can use to get to the bathroom at night without waking everyone up! The other one is a very light stretchy above-knee skirt that I sometimes wear around town, sometimes over my cycling shorts (my favourite short) for coverage or sun protection. Agree with all your comments about organizing in bags. Super helpful especially when packing up. I can recommend the Decathlon merino underwear. I bought one pair a year ago and plan to get a second pair for my 2027 Camino. So lovely to wash and wear. I also love my sleeping sac which is a MEC Camino bag which is a half weight sleeping bag. Your original packing lists were my inspiration for my first Camino. Thanks for your update Nadine! oops forgot to mention my rain skirt - I know what!? - its a wrap nylon hunting skirt, perfect for over shorts or pants and provides a little more coverage. Looks like a garbage bag wrap but it works.

I think the electric coil is a great luxury item. I like my coffee in the morning and I’m naturally an early riser. This will get me out the door without worrying about where to find a cafe con leche

I got a pack that opens from the top and bottom because of you, Nadine! It served me well on my Camino :) I took a Kula cloth too. The Matador soap case was a great purchase- so great, that someone almost stole it because I forgot my toiletries in the shower one day, lol.... I walked in May last year and I found the water and weather to be soooo drying that I was putting what I had packed for body lotion on my face to keep it hydrated and it was perfect. I really found the daily moisturizer from Cetaphil to be a huge skin saver incase anyone else thinks they might have this issue. I took 2 travel sized ones and could have used another one on a 3 week walk. Thanks for this! xo, Aurora

Being a large guy with size 13 shoes EVERYTHING I have is bigger than what you have, except the toothbrush 😂 24l doesn’t work for me but I can get away with 30l and a good waist pack. Currently experimenting with making a cotton towel, thanks to you. I was happy(?) with a camping towel until you mentioned Turkish towels.
