  I had listened to Marantz Cinema 50 vs Denon 4800h in 3 different Magnolia rooms and paired with Martin Logan XT100 and all 3 times I’ve enjoyed listening to the Marantz C50 over the Denon at same settings. It’s all about what your ears appreciate the most. Nothing wrong with the Denon, just get what sounds best to your ears.

  Denon and yamaha are well built . My 2 denon and 3 yamaha amplifier and avr are working flawless for 5 to 15 years !

  I purchased the Denon X4500H brand new a few years back. We have been very pleased with it.

  And the cooling fan that's in the back of most receivers today does not kick in until you turn the volume up to the receiver then the fan will start to spin if you turn the volume down to about 19 the fan isn't going to spin at all it works with how much power is going through the unit

  I got a X4800h back in 2025 for $1379, brand new, and it's been an amazing receiver.  I couldn't pass on the deal, even though I had a X4700h at home already but it was one of the early models that had the chip issue with passing HDMI 2.1 full bandwidth problems, and needed a stand alone box to make it work, which wasn't something I really liked. The X4800h has been great and I'm super picky when it comes to things being made in Japan and I know up until the X4800h came out, only the X6#00 models were made there so when I heard the X4800h was also Made in Japan, I knew I had to grab one, especially at the price I was able to get it for.

  I’m a Sony AZ STR7000ES owner so for sure I’m biased but 3 points.  First if you use an amp for the front speakers the distortion problem is not a problem.  Second you fail to add the cost of DIRAC Live to the comps. Third and final none of your selections can do 7.4.6, but the Sony can.
