When I think of southern things like food, I think of pecan.pie, sweet potato pie, and fried chicken. Collard greens, chitterlings , Tobasco brand pepper sauce, Louisiana hot sauce, Crystal hot sauce, cajun creole food. Etc. I am also fond of straight bourbon. 9:10

I think they were making rye whiskey at Mount Vernon, not Bourbon. Of course I’m not saying they would have never used corn in their mash, we just know rye whiskey, along with fruit brandy was what Washington sold.

Please ….Phenix City was once a quiet peaceful community prior to the Civil War reconstruction days when land grabbing carpet baggers descended on the whole area. Stealing land from locals and the original inhabitants …The Creek Indians i and other natives- After the Civil War the area rebounded and continued to be a community eith deep Christian values. The outside influences of wealthy carpet bagger across the river wanted to keep the soldiers on leave supplied with liquor , gambling and prostitutes …. But employing the NIMBY( not in my backyard approach. Most of the insideous activities began on lower Broad Street across the Chattahoochee River (Where parents warnrd their childre not to go near. )It was later with the Blessing of loca officials on both sides of the river Street across the bridge area where the illicit activities thrived mot throughout the city

That fake southern accent by the narrator is annoying. Otherwise, great content
