I attend a church where our Pastor had an older car, broke down a couple times on his way to church, so the church blessed him with a love offering to purchase a car. The Pastor poured that offering back into the church (for things the church needed) so some members got together and bought him a car. I say this because of all these mega churches looking more into lining their pockets and not making sure the church and its members have what they need to sustain throughout their lives! Discernment and reading on your own helps you to know when your leader/Pastor is preaching in line with the Word. If not, you should not keep attending and giving your money to a worldly man!

"His mom said God told her..." That's the problem right there. He was forced into ministry by his mother. It wasn't his calling if God didn't speak with him directly.
