  You forgot the best part about the Mass Effect reporter scenario! She actually ducks the punch in 3 then you get the followup Renegade action to headbutt her! And yes it&apos;s funny. 1. It&apos;s a game. 2. She was terrible.

  TELLTALE is egregious at this. Everybody knows &lt;glass him&gt; but the final choice of Enemy Within where you think you&apos;re allowing Alfred a mental health day, giving the poor guy a break but instead you disown each other is the most evil trick in all of gaming.

  When I was a kid, a friend of mine tried to write a standard text RPG using Basic, but the computer refused to acknowledge the key assignment script and just activated a prompt with the press of ANY key, even when we made a second key assignment script for another key. So, yea... programming choices was actually difficult back in the day.

  There&apos;s a much worse example of this in the first Mass Effect. At some point you&apos;re with your squad talking about the situation and Liara makes a suggestion about the path to take. To this Ashley rudely snaps at her with her usual anti-alien racist tirade, claiming Liara&apos;s idea is bad and they should do something else. At this you have one of your dialogue choices be &quot;I make the decisions around here!&quot; and <i>you&apos;d think_</i> it&apos;d be directed to Ashley, who&apos;s not only being rude but also basically ignoring the chain of command, but no. For some insane reason it&apos;s directed to Liara, who was not only being perfectly calm and civil, but merely giving a suggestion. At this she looks down and says she&apos;s sorry, and I think any player worth their salt will just reload a save to take a different dialogue choice because what the hell?
