  I love how the pandemic just showed to everyone the intrinsic problems we have with every aspect of society. Job market, cars and transportation, housing, food, healthcare, tech, tourism, consumer products, finance, retirement plans, clothes, music, videogames, cinema, streaming, dating, social interactions. It&apos;s ALL shit now.

  I&apos;d love an older car that is NOT flooded with computers, sensors, etc. I went from a 2019 back to a 2012 vehicle simply because there&apos;s less to go wrong with it.

  What I don&apos;t understand is how this house of cards is still standing. Seems like debt cycles can run for a very long time before becoming a problem.

  Companies are no longer in the business of producing goods, they are finiacial service companies and the main concern is stock price. Decrease costs (quality) and increase prices.

Could not source any other parts.<br><br>But you need a $1400 refurb engine for a 2018 Toyota crv to stick in a customer&apos;s car after the old engine blew up? That&apos;s doable. Steering columns, Air conditioner compressors, evaporators, condensers? Yeah. <br>Refurb motors with fresh brushes for your power windows? Yep got those. Refurb motors with fresh brushes for an EV powertrain? Nope. New from dealer only, $15,000.<br><br>First EV company to free up their patents and let aftermarket help keep vehicles on the road for 10-20 years for dirt cheap will be the one everyone gravitates to. Waiting///<br>It&apos;s a bandage that&apos;s gonna have to be ripped off sonner than later, and it&apos;s easier to rip it off sooner. <br>There&apos;s a reason why the Chevy Volt is like the only affordable used EV option. 90% of the car has aftermarket support already, being it&apos;s the same frame and parts as used in the Chevy Cruze, which has a LOT of used options already, and enough volts are in the wild to be able to get &apos;junkyard&apos; parts for drivetrain, battery, and whatnot. Finally.<br>(Easy to find in good condition as a private sale, below $5000, that&apos;s my metric for a &quot;good&quot; car model)
