  There is a shot that can never be replicated in this film.<br><br>The scene of Cillian walking across an empty Westminster Bridge. The perfect mix of a very difficult to obtain film permit, construction diverting most pedestrians away and being up very early morning got them that shot. <br><br>They had mere minutes to make it.<br><br>That permit is no longer available. Apparently it was scrapped after the Westminster Terrorist attacks.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22jVeEgaKBs&amp;t=3532">58:52</a> for financial and time reasons the movie was filmed on a digital video camera instead of traditional 35mm. In some cases they only had about 45 minutes after dawn to get the shots before everything started getting busy. The digital cameras also gave the film a gritty more documentary feel.

  28 weeks later next! The beginning is quite possibly some of the best zombie actions I&apos;ve seen. Great cast again

  I love that the 28 series is getting some exposure again. Some of my favorite movies and the most logical take on a “zombie virus” (even tho they are not undead).<br><br>28 years was phenomenal

  Also the shot of the car driving with the tulips in the foreground is so fucking awesome. The crappy digital camera makes the flowers look like an impressionist painting, it&apos;s so beautiful.

  Yes you&apos;ve got it the real horror is the humans in this film and want they are willing to do,i saw this when it came out very impressed back then great reaction anyway.

  Solid takes. One thing to know about this one, is it’s the first time most of us saw fast zombies. Before this it was almost all slow shamblers, so it was very much something different at the time.

  I don&apos;t think Jim enjoyed killing that infected kid; I think it was just him proving to himself that he could survive, and maybe protect his friends. He probably also had a lot of &apos;rage&apos; built up from the moment he realized he was alone, and there were people out there that he normally would have trusted (the priest, his neighbor) but were now enemies.

  Ive heard a lot of people talk about the soldiers hiding, but it isn&apos;t that weird. They have no control over who hears that broadcast, so you can&apos;t just have a welcome wagon waiting for people to come and try to take advantage of; You would want, at very least, to see them before they see you. Them waiting to see what they did when the place was empty is also clever, because what if Jim had whistled and 40 other people came out of the bushes?

  If you liked this, I recommend &apos;Sunshine.&apos; It was made 5 years after this and re-teams writer (Alex Garland), director (Danny Boyle) &amp; actor (Cillian Murphy.) It&apos;s also a different take on a post-apocalypse film.<br>Beyond that, it features a pre-MCU Chris Evans &amp; Benedict Wong and a young Rose Byrne. Michelle Yeoh was probably the most well-known cast member at this point.
