  Yogi was a great person. He made the kids outside the stadium feel important. He signed autographs and talked to them like equals.

  I’m 80 years old and I remember Yogi as the patron saint of all the kids that were too small or too fat or too skinny. He was the best hero.

  Yogi was not only one of the greatest baseball players of all times, by all accounts he was also a loving husband and devoted father.<br><br>He had 10 championship rings and never became arrogant about them. Contrast his personality with many, many of today’s stars that are so arrogant they act like they’re the center of the universe.

  It is an absolute travesty that MLB left him off the list of the greatest living baseball players in 2014 or 2015, for some strange All-Star celebration IIRC. &nbsp;Absolutely disgraceful!

  In 1964, my father took me to Yankee Stadium. We saw the Cleveland Indians. My father brought along his new transistor radio. We listened to the announcer like that. We had great seats. A couple rows back from the Yankee dugout. I don&apos;t remember the score...but I got to see the Greats, Yoggi, Mickey, I forget the others now. Being there...part of the &quot;aura&quot; of the Yankees...Thank you Dad

  Great tribute to an incredible player and person. &nbsp;There will never be another Yogi. &nbsp;My favorite Yogi-ism was &quot;Nobody goes to that place anymore because it&apos;s always too crowded&quot;.

  I believe Too Many of today&apos;s Baseball stars have allegiance to how many Millions of dollars they can make playing the game and if their team doesn&apos;t fork out the dough, they go elsewhere, even though many of them are being paid enough to support 20 or more families comfortably each year.<br><br>Yogi spent almost his entire career with the Yankees, loved to play with them and sold Yoohoo on the side, I believe, to supplement his salary so he could continue to be a Yankee. How many of today&apos;s millionaire ball players would do that to remain with their team?<br><br>Rest In Peace Yogi. We miss you and your Loyalty to your Team and Teammates.
