  BASED on her psychological profile and overt sexualized behaviour, I suspect Ms Lazarus was intimate with one or more of the detectives who led the case early on and benefited from those relationships by evading scrutiny and having access to evidence.<br>Gross incompetence alone does not explain the LAPD’s failure and their clear contempt for the victim’s family.
