I never even thought to compete when I was younger. I was the student no one wanted to promote, except for two teachers, one of whom was an actual professional ballet dancer. I should have just gone out and done it no matter what anyone said. I couldn't get pointe shoes until I was 15 even though I started dancing at 3. I wasn't able to take class full-time due to school and other activities. You have always been exceptional. I loved seeing your old solos.

It’s refreshing to see someone react to old performances and feeling confident enough to compliment themself. It gets old seeing people going “omg I was SO BAD” when they were very clearly a solid 9.5/10 😂

I don't know if you remember but I commented that I had an audition at Carolina Ballet, and I got in! Your videos have definitely helped me with my technique. <3

I love how sweet you are to your younger self!!! It’s so refreshing. Everyone is usually so hard on themselves when they watch old videos but here you are cheering yourself on. Love it 💚

You hit the nail on the head, Claudia, "a lot of potential but need for refinement." I can see why the Royal Ballet School accepted you. As, I have mentioned before in response to one of your videos, you have an admirable quality of putting yourself out there as is. That takes courage and builds tons of respect!

Omg Claudia I love you. I’m a 14 year old ballerina, and I have always wanted to be a professional ballerina. Your videos have helped me gain confidence. I’m a perfectionist and have always been really hard on myself, but after watching some of your videos it helps me feel better. Watching your videos has also gradually helped me be less hard on myself, and realize every dancer makes mistakes and needs improvement in some part of their dancing.

My 4 year olds were unicorns for their recital last year! It was a little purple white tutu sequin dress with a unicorn headband, so precious
