  I’ve tried to have this discussion with Protestants and it’s a dead end. They will say their authority comes from the scriptures, from the Holy Spirit. If you ask them how do they know their interpretation of the gospel is correct, they will just say it’s in the scriptures. If you try to bring up historical Christianity to compare their beliefs to early Christians, they will say those men were fallible and they don’t follow fallible men. By using circular, nonsensical reasoning they remain willfully ignorant in order to protect their own idea of what Christianity is, rather than conforming to the truth.

  The apostles were killed for their beliefs and tortured and laughed at by the pagans and they were the ones who set up the church that was persecuted and still is to this day.

  If believers would just realize that the Reformation was primarily driven by greed and not by theology, they would see that nobles seized Church wealth and power while using Luther&apos;s doctrinal concerns as indispensable public rhetoric to mobilize mass support and justify defiance against Rome. Without those noble self-interests, the Reformation would have remained a minor theological dispute confined to the universities.

  Back in my late twenties I was eager to know the truth to bring me into the fullness of the truth so I can love the Trinity. Not &nbsp;knowing better I enrolled into a Protestant Seminary and for three years every day the seminary curriculum was about how to defeat the Catholic doctrines. I spent thousands of dollars just to sit in class 5 days a week for 3years to learn how into hate Catholic and every single scripture in the Bible has no meaning but John 3 : 16.<br>I asked the dean why you just tell people you all have no theology but just John 3 :16 instead of wasting people time and money.<br>There and then I realized that the Catholic church was in fact the true church

  It&apos;s what I&apos;ve been telling my Protestant brothers since decades ago. I put it very simple .<br>&quot;Does God make mistakes&quot;, they all said no, then I ask, how come then &quot;he left the wrong church for over 1500&quot; before ANY protestant ever existed??<br>They all or most hush, others look away or down, others get mad... but none can nor will ever give me a justifiable answer, and that&apos;s because deep inside they know they&apos;re wrong, but pride is not letting them admit it.. but we must keep up showing them the facts... yet, it is fair to say that many Protestant Brothers and Sisters genuinely love God and do His will. For they have helped spread The Gospel all throughout the world, and it&apos;s their merit. <br>We love you Sam, great job as most of the time... but I still challenge you to debate me on Melquisedek, Jesus HIMself... <br>😄✝️🙏 peace be upon you!
