  A friend of mine's Father was in his 80's and dying.  His favorite musician was Vince Gill.  Vince was playing in an area golf tournament and my friend called and asked if his Dad could briefly meet Vince.  Long story short, Vince ended up spending 45 minutes with him talking and playing guitar.  Vince noticed he was getting tired and gracefully took his leave.  That was a real high point for my friend's Dad.  What a gift...

  When I was younger I didn't have any interest in a Telecaster. Now that I am older, and wiser, the Telecaster is my favorite guitar. Closely followed by the Mustang. ❤

  What a sweetheart of a guy.  I've loved and followed him from Pure Prairie League on.  He has greatly informed my playing.  But what stands out to me is what his friends say about him, his friendship and generosity.

  The greatest guitar ever. I found my ‘52 in a gun shop in Florida. Had been played every night in countless clubs and bars. Thick with nicotine stains but sounds awesome. It’ll be with me tomorrow doing another gig.

  Vince Gill is a remarkable individual.  The more videos I watch featuring Vince Gill, the more I learn about the man and grow to appreciate him. He comes across as a genuinely wonderful person and is a good friend to many in the music community. Whether he is speaking or playing, Vince Gill always provides valuable insights, and I find myself learning something new from each video. Fender made an excellent decision by highlighting Vince Gill for the Tele 75. His connection to the Telecaster and his influence make him a fitting choice for this feature. I am looking forward to seeing videos with Brad Paisley, another favorite Telecaster artist of mine. Watching Brad is always enjoyable, and his contributions to the Telecaster legacy are significant. It would be engaging to have Zac Childs host a video covering Telecasters through the years. With his extensive knowledge, such a video could easily extend to four hours without Zac needing to pause even once  to look up any information about Telecasters. Zac is a walking, talking and playing  - guitar encyclopedia.
