Romanian is 78% derived from Vulgar Latin 14% Slavic, Germanic 2.5%, and a 95% Latin derived grammar.

To say it's snowing in Romanian it's Ninge, which is closer to the rest of the languages! Love to see Romania represented! I went for an exchange year and had the best time!

"Zapada" is a word of Slavic origin. And in Romanian for snow there is also the word "nea", which has common Latin root with the other Romance words for same thing
